What would you do with the above shown below? Simply delete it on your phone the moment you have clicked it? Well, there is a way you can get away with unwanted elements in your photo using a mobile phone application called Snapseed.
Though there are many other ways by which you can remove the unwanted elements in a photo, but in this post, I would specifically like to talk about one of my favourite tools. Also, this approach is only for those of you who like to process their photos on a mobile device.
Removing unwanted elements using Snapseed’s Healing Tool
Though one should always try and avoid capturing the unwanted and distracting elements, but in some situations, it is not possible. Restrictions such as less moving space, unexpected movement of the subject, etc. Trust me, if you want to remove such unwanted elements in your photo, Snapseed’s healing tool would do a great job.
There might be some issues with the Snapseed’s healing tool if the surrounding area of the unwanted element is cluttered. But this tool works smoothly if the surrounding area is neat and has few variants of colors.
As you can see in the video placed below, all you have to do is tap or drag the area where unwanted elements are placed. The application will automatically cover that particular area with the surrounding scene and the elements would be removed. Do not worry if it does not remove the subject with perfection, zoom-in and try again to get better results.
If you are already aware of this tool and have edited some images using the same, do share your photos in the comments section. 🙂
Hope you like this small tip for mobile phone photo editing.
