A camera that can fit inside a book, sounds strange? Artist and designer Kelli Anderson has launched an interesting pop-up book titles ‘This book is a camera’. This exciting new product turns the book into a real pinhole camera the moment you open the cover.
The book is a great tool to be used to experience how exactly a pin hole camera works and what photography used to be back in the times when we did not have mobile phone cameras and DSLRs. With the help of this book, Kelli explains how one can make a camera obscura by providing instructions.
This book is a camera is packed with a pinhole camera, along woith a starter-pack which includes B&W Ilford photo paper and instructions on how to shoot using this camera.
Simply open the book and the pinhole camera would emerge from the pages, lock the tabs on the upper corners and your are all set to click photos. But, you would need to go shopping to pick up developer fluid in order to develop your photos in a dark room. Take a photo of the photo-paper through your phone/DSLR and simply invert the image digitally to get the final photo.
