The Laowa 24mm f/14 Replay 2x Macro lens by Venus Optics was one such lens at the Photokina 2016 that made everyone curious. The lens, which looks more like a thick wand, has been designed for photographing small objects.
The long barrel of the Laowa 24mm f/14 lens allows you to capture the subject with a maximum reproduction ratio of 2:1, by standing at a distance.
This lens will be compatible with Nikon and Canon full-frame cameras. As per the claims, the Laowa 24mm f/14 can be used in extreme temperatures and conditions.
Though there has been no official statement by Venus Optics about the release date and the pricing of the lens, but we can expect it sometime in 2017.
This uniquely-shaped lens was spotted and clicked at Photokina by ePHOTOzine team.
