GoPro is back in news, but this time for an altogether different product. The action camera brand is soon going to launch a drone in the first half of 2016, and to keep the travel enthusiasts upbeat about this new product, GoPro has released a 2-minute footage captured using a GoPro HERO4 action camera.
GoPro has played the timing pretty well, shortly after they released Hero+ Action Camera featuring Wi-Fi.
The awe-inspiring teaser video clip shows how stable and sharp the visuals produced by the GoPro drone is going to be, when it hits the market. As shown in the 1440p video, it is impressive how smooth result has been achieved using a drone in the air at a considerable height. Seems like GoPro is confident and has made sure that launch the drone market with a unique product offering.
GoPro writes “This featured video was captured with a developmental prototype of GoPro’s quadcopter and stabilization system. No post-production stabilization was implemented; this is an example of the incredible image quality we are already able to capture at this advanced prototype stage.”
