Yongnuo, a Hong Kong-based lighting and photo gear manufacturer has announced Yongnuo YN360 LED light wand, which is claimed to be the first LED video light made up of full-color RGB SMD lamps and LED lamp.
Yongnuo is best known for producing affordable speedlights and clone lenses of Nikon and Canon, such as the Yongnuo 50mm f/1.8 for Nikon. The brand has yet again entered a new market to provide a cheap and affordable alternative to LED light wands.
The Yongnuo YN360 LED light wand is ideal for still and video photographers as it comprises of 40 full color RGB SMD lamps which can give rich Red, Green and Blue colors, 160 LED lamp beads with color temperature of 3200K and 160 LED lamp beads with 5500K color temperature.
The exciting feature of Yongnuo YN360 LED light wand is that the color and the brightness of the LED lights can easily be controlled using a smartphone app. You can also mount the light want on a tripod, as there is a standard tripod mouth at the base of YN360.
The YN360 is powered by a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery which can provide 2 hours of juice to maximum brightness in 3200K-5500K color temperature and 4 hours of juice at maximum brightness in RGB color mode.
The Yongnuo YN360 is all set to launch in the month of March this year, with a price tag of $60-80.

It is available for shipping via yongnuo store. I expect mine next week. Price is different that one mentioned in the post but that was false rumor.

I paid $125 x3 pieces. Now it is little cheaper. But it is sent via DHL express for that price
